- 1 Cup Flour
- 1/4 Tsp Salt
- 2 Tbsp Oil
- 1 1/2 Cups Water
- 2 - Egg Whites

- In a bowl combine flour, salt, oil and cold water.
- Blend well. Refrigerate, uncovered for 30 minutes.
- Beat egg whites until very stiff.
- Fold egg whites into batter thoroughly.
- Core apples, then peel and slice into 1/8" thick pieces.
- Coat in batter.
- Deep fry for 3 to 5 minutes or until golden brown.
- Sprinkle lightly with fine sugar and cinnamon.
