- 2 Cups Vidalia Onion (or Spanish Onion)
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 1 Clove Garlic
- 1/4 Tsp Black Pepper
- 1/4 Tsp Salt
- 2 Tbsp White Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Sherry
- 1 Tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Loaf Sour Dough Bread
- 1/2 Lb Brie Cheese
- 4 Oz Cream Cheese

- Peel onions and cut into quarters, slice thinly and set aside.
- Cube cheese.
- Melt butter in skillet over medium heat, add onions, garlic, salt and pepper; stirring often for 10 minutes until onions are translucent.
- Increase heat to medium high.
- Cook, 4 minutes, stirring often, until browned.
- Sprinkle with sugar and cook, stirring often 6 to 8 minutes until onions are very brown.
- Add sherry and Worcestershire sauce and cook 1 minute.
- Cut out center of bread and cut into cubes.
- Mix cheeses with onion mixture and put into loaf.
- Wrap in foil and bake at 350 F for at least 1/2 hour until cheese melts.
- Serve with bread cubes, crackers, etc.
